About our classes

We offer 45-minute mat Pilates classes designed for women of all fitness levels. We take you through a full body workout focusing on slow, controlled movements and breath. Classes are available at 5:30 PM every Monday during the school term, held at the Woodcroft Neighbourhood Centre in Blacktown. Bringing your own mat is optional. As our community grows, additional class times will be added based on interest.

Shaila is a qualified personal trainer, mat Pilates instructor, and future PDHPE educator dedicated to empowering others through movement, mindfulness, and education. With a background in education and fitness, she brings a unique blend of academic understanding and practical experience to her work.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Not at all. Classes are beginner-friendly and all movements are explained clearly with options provided. Whether it’s your first class or you’re returning to Pilates, you’ll feel supported.

  • Just yourself, your own mat is optional, water, and a towel if you like. All other equipment will be provided.

  • Comfortable activewear that allows you to move freely. Grip socks are recommended but not required.

  • Pilates can be incredibly supportive for injury prevention and recovery, but please consult your healthcare provider first. Always let the instructor know before class about any injuries, pain, or limitations so modifications can be offered.

  • Absolutely. If you cancel with sufficient notice, your class credit can be rolled over to the following week.
